Learn the Cheat Foods That Will Help to Lose Weight
You already know that it is what you put in your body that will determine how much weight you will lose. If you are not eating the right foods it will not matter when you decide to go with the fad diet that your friends tried or the patch that you decide to wear. Or even if you decide that you will take the magic pill and it will make you not feel hungry. At some point you will have to eat and it will be your food choice that will determine if you will gain some additional pounds or if it will cause you to shed some pounds. Some foods to consider when you are trying to lose weight:
Fish
This is a good source of protein and your muscles will need protein to recover especially if you are doing some kind of strength training. Try to add salmon to your diet because it is a good source of protein and omega 3. You can just throw it on the grill and in no time you will have a great tasting grill salmon for lunch or dinner. Tuna is another good fish that can be used for quick meals such as a tuna salad or having a snack. You can get creative and use it in many different ways.
Water
Thought water will not be considered as a food, it must be added to your weight loss plan. Water will be your best friend in your weight loss goal. Measure your water so that you are drinking the necessary water recommended for a given day. Spread your water intake through the day and make sure that you are drinking water and not adding coffee and other liquid and say that you are drinking water. Stop your water consumption at least two or three hours before going to bed. Be careful of flavored water because some of these flavored water adds so much sugar to the water t that you could very well just be drinking a can of 12 ounces soda
Start reading labels
Food labels can be very confusing so you must begin to learn how to read food label. If you are not reading your food labels you could be eating foods that you think are healthy but are really just loaded with trans fat, calories and way too much sugar. Also pay attention to the claims that the manufacturer make and cross reference it with the nutritional panel. The food might say no trans fat but when you read the ingredients you might find that they have hydrogenated oil, which is trans fat. Manufacturers are allowed to use 5% of hydrogenated oils and still claim that their food has no trans fat. So pay attention not just to the claim but does the ingredients panel pack up the claim. If you are not sure about a particular ingredient, it might be best just not to buy that product.
